So I have a son that is less than a month away from being 16, which means I never get photographs of him. He fights me tooth and nail and even with snap shots he will make faces just so I won't like it. Well last week he finally said I could take pictures of him. So yesterday we went out and spent the day together and I was able to get a hand full of images of him that I was in love with!!! Obviously, he didn't allow me to take the amount of images that my daughters do, but I am ok with that because he actually cooperated with me and didn't fight me every step of the way. Any way, I hope you enjoy finally seeing images of my handsome son as much as I do. Have a great day!!!

My family spent the day just hanging out and enjoying time together and tonight we went and watched the fireworks show!!! We always enjoy watching the fireworks! Meet Charlotte & Victor. Charlotte is the mother of one of my daughter's friend. I do not usually photograph weddings but I was honored when she asked me about doing them. It was a very small ceremony at the court house with just a few close friends in attendance. We then went to the park where most of the portraits were taken. It was such a great day (although a hot one lol), you could tell how much they loved\ each other and how much he adores her children. I have to admit I loved how informal it was because there was zero stress and everyone just had fun! I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I enjoyed taking them.

So starting this website and Blog is my first step to actually achieving my dream of owning my own business. I have worked for others for years in studios but I was always missing something. I was missing myself in what I was doing because I had to do what I was told to do. I didn't have the enjoyment of truly getting to know the clients and I was never truly able to photograph creatively.
